It was the perfect cafe to stumble across when ur hungry and want somewhere pleasant, the customer service was good lovely lady served us. The place inside is clean and has nice decor and the fact they allow dogs I think is very lovely, as dog owners struggle to find someone for them to eat inside. I would say to help the business is to higher the quality of food to the price. One big thing I noticed was they need change the prices for a can, as £2.50 quiet frankly is to expensive for a can of coke. The “toast” was bread and was buttered with margarine I didn’t mind but for future it would be a lot nicer toasted and cut into triangles. The food was very tasty and was a perfect portion very well presented I couldn’t fault the food it was very enjoyable and wasn’t greasy 9/10 for the food. I would return and do recommend. Girl who we paid with was cold and rude made me feel very awkward, maybe she just hates her job.

Today my daughter treated me to late breakfast at Yaaze. I often come here for a coffee and sometimes one of the excellent cakes or scones, which are delightful and home-made. I love the decor and the positioning of the restaurant, which gives fantastic views of our superb seafront. The music played is never intrusive but always lends something to the ambience - Billie Holiday was playing this morning. A special thank-you to the waiting staff who are always polite and attentive, and I think that the prices are very reasonable for foods and drinks that are that bit special and can set you up for the day.

The new ‘Goto’ restaurant for us in Hastings. Dinner was so tasty, well presented and reasonably priced, combined with such friendly, warm yet extremely professional service that we came back , this morning to sample the breakfast… we were not disappointed. The selection was a plenty, the portions more than adequate and each plate was individually prepared, giving a clear personal touch. Lunch is next on our list.

This place is extremely good and has a very diverse menus to satisfy anyone. We are local and visited on a Friday lunchtime after seeing all the amazing reviews on TA…. they were all spot on … this place didn’t disappoint in anyway. The food is all of a high quality and cooked to perfection, portions are large and good value. Restaurant is a contemporary cafe style which is spotlessly clean reiterated with a 5* hygiene rating. Chips were lovely and crisp and not greasy, chicken was lovely, tender and flavoursome, salad was all very fresh. Pistachio ice cream with baklava was lovely, decent coffee too. Staff and owner were all spot on … don’t often see service at this level anymore. Feel very privileged to have this in Hastings and will certainly be returning in the not too distant future. Keep up the great work and just turn the music down a fraction… sea views always a bonus. Very dog friendly pop in after a nice walk along the seafront and you certainly won’t be disappointed….. whether it’s coffee and cake or a full meal.

Having been meaning to visit here for ages I finally got that chance today. The place looks amazing, I love used scaffold boards and the decor is mainly that, it's great! Portions were huge, my only feedback would be to serve the meals with salad rather than chips. Staff were attentive, chef greeted us personally and checked up on us as he moved around the restaurant. They are a zero plastic business which is great as it meant the hummus I couldn't eat came home in cute little cardboard tubs. A meal for 3 plus a starter to share and drinks came to a very reasonable £55.

Stopped off for dinner sunday evening at short notice and received great food and service all at a resonable price. The range of drinks and dishes was excellent for such a small place. The portions were generous. Been previously for brunch with a group of 7 and we had all enjoyed our choices.

The Chef knows how to make and cook a great beefburger patty! There was plenty of other great looking food to choose from too including vegetarian options. Attentive service including adjusting the blinds from the low Winter sun on the Hastings sea front, so the sun is not in your face whilst you enjoy the fare! Literally on the sea front, this lovely independent cafe and bar benefits fully from the scape. The atmosphere is great and as a musician I was happy to hear (nicely in the background) a little vintage blues by the late great Albert King. I'd thoroughly recommend this joint!

We don't know Hastings and were at a bit of a loss to know where to eat. We were reduced (sorry McD's!) to queuing for a burger only to find they were only doing takeout and we really wanted a seat. We were headed for 'Historic Hastings' via an underpass when out of the corner of my eye I saw the word Bistro. On closer inspection it looked clean, friendly, great view, available seats, what's not to like? We were greeted with a smile and menus and got down to choosing........ OK I admit this took a while, they all sounded good. Eventually we plumped for the Chicken Casserole and a Grilled Meze. Great choices, maybe for us and another person! Fast food this wasn't, but it was well worth the wait. A glass of Sauvignon Blanc for my wife and an Efes beer for me went very well with everything. The waitress checked we liked everything. Another waitress made sure we weren't short of anything and the chef came by to see if the food was to our taste. We smiled, said nice (truthful) things and kept eating... We didn't manage it all. A mushroom or two escaped, a sliver of halloumi and a couple of olives, the odd piece of flatbread, not much more. We thought about dessert and then realised this would be a step too far and settled for coffee. Only apparently we weren't allowed not to have dessert and found ourselves tucking into two little baklava and two scoops of pistachio ice cream. Heaven! We live in Bournemouth and Hastings is just too far away for us to become regulars here but the thought is tantalising. Maybe we could move to Chichester?!

I loved the design of this eatery, I loved it’s spaciousness, I loved that it was on the seafront, and I liked the menu which also had vegan options. However, we have Omicron very much around in Hastings. None of the staff were wearing masks. We asked the owner/manager to keep the door a bit open because of covid and he said it would be too cold. There were no windows open…so the ventilation was very poor. We only went in there for hot chocolate but I would otherwise return to eat there had there not been such poor regard for the risks our pandemic poses.

We spotted Yaaze on a corner on Hastings seafront while looking for somewhere for a late and unplanned supper. The staff were welcoming and delightful showing us the range of dishes they had on the menu. We chose a mezze of mostly hot items and they were served quickly for a delicious meal We were impressed with the food and service at a time (in Hastings) when a lot of places are closing or can't be bothered with latecomers

A friend and I ended up having a 2 hour hike turn into a 4 hour hike and when we got into town at 9.30pm on a Tuesday, everywhere was closing up and kitchens had been closed for hours. Just when we thought all hope was lost we stumbled upon Yaaze Bistro. Not only were they open but their menu was better than we could've ever hoped for. Lots of variation but pinned around the Turkish mesa theme. After much deliberation due to everything sounding so good, we ordered the grilled mesa platter. All of which was perfect. Especially the sun dried tomato dip 👌 They also have draft Efes beer by the pint bottle which I've never been able to find in the U.K. Great atmosphere, great music playlist, friendly staff and most importantly for me, open late.

I went to Hastings for a couple of days and i found this gem just by the sea over there. The first day I arrived, I had a lovely breakfast which made me go there the next morning :) Food is fresh and delicious, people are friendly and accommodating, and the view of the sea while you eat is priceless. Highly recommended!

Amazing amazing amazing food. I went in last night with my Nan for some ice cream and staff were so nice! They also had really nice jazz music on at night & this morning I went for breakfast with my mum and had the Mediterranean except I swapped some bits out and the chef was more than accommodating! The food was insanely yummy and huge! Could’ve maybe even shared this if you’re two smaller people lol. Anyway! Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. Also opposite the seafront which is perfect location! :) p.s all of this cost £10!
