We called at a lunchtime and said we only wanted a tea and a coffee and was told no problem. In the end my wife chose a Cream Tea and I had a large slice of Coffee and Walnut Cake. The Cream Tea consisted of a large scone, pot of jam and a good helping of clotted cream. All served with... More

I went there with my girlfriend for a lunch and a drink and I was pleasantly surprised by the good value of this place. From the outside it looks normal, you can miss it as it is towards the end of the street, towards the big car park, past the fishing museum. The interior is nice and clean. The bathroom... More

Popped in for Saturday lunch. A few minutes away from the old town, beyond the aquarium and the East lift. Parking opposite. Busy; good atmosphere & friendly welcome. Clean, uncluttered, simple presentation, good service. Interesting menu inluding lots of fish, home made burgers + a range of other dishes and a daily specials board. Opted for cod & chips -... Never fails to deliver fresh food at a reasonable price. Nice table linen thoughtfully covered with a paper layer for easy cleaning between services. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with attentive service. Well worth a visit if you are looking for casual and swift service. Famous seafood linguine lives up to its title. Liver and onions scrummy!🙂

Literally tucked away under the cliff, this is an excellent place for tea and coffee or a full blown meal. The food is all fresh and prepared in front of you in generous portions. Easy to pass by as does not look much from the outside but make an effort to find it. Shame its not open in the evening.... More

This little restaurant is tucked away near the fishing end of town at Rock-A-Nore where there is also a large car park. The first thing we found was very friendly staff. This was particularly appreciated as at a restaurant down the road the staff had been rude. We are visiting Hastings for the day and wanted somewhere for lunch preferably with... More
