We went with my vegan daughter for her 18th birthday dinner. We had a really beautiful and perfectly flavoured experience. I am not a full time vegan, but have eaten plenty of it over the years. The restaurant is larger than the outside suggests and it's ambience is friendly and diverse. All of us enjoyed our meals and felt well... More

First off. Gotta say this place is no quick-bite veggie shop. It takes time. Really. BUT !!!! What you get is veggie food like you have probably never imagined. It is exquisite in every way. This is THE go-to place for a swanky swanky vegetarian celebration/ get together. Non-veggies will also adore the entire gastro experience. Beyond delicious.

My sister on holiday from Australia wanted to try a vegetarian restaurant whilst in Brighton. We have been here on many other ocassions had great meals combined with great staff and atmosphere and decided to take her. She was not disappointed, in fact she raved about it and wants to return before leaving for home. Well done to the owners... More

I am not a fan of the ambience and think the wine mark ups are bad enough before they then surcharge on their by the glass prices. Their Crianza Rioja for example is marked up at or close to 300% and then they add anothger 10% making sure its over the 300%mark. However it must be said the staff are... More

The food is so well presented then carefully described by the waiting staff who are very friendly and seem genuinely enthusiastic to be working there. The flavour sensations are amazing with an imaginative blend of vegetables that are complimented by an interesting addition of herbs and spices. Puddings are a revelation and if anyone wants afternoon tea in Brighton; look... More

If you are looking for an amazing place for Afternoon tea then this is the place to go. The food as always, was fantastic, great service, attentive and never rushed. Lovely cocktails and the truffles, just heavenly! The presentation and flavours, just wonderful. Planning our next visit already.

This is seriously the nicest food I have ever had! It's smart and cosy and casual all at the same time. The vibe is perfect and the staff are all lovely. I had the sneaky peeking steamed buns and it was fabulous, such great flavours mixed all together. We sampled a variety of stuff and it was all perfect. The... More

We loved the tasting plate and polished the lot off. Our main meals were fab too. We were too full to order desserts though so if you want a dessert don't take a starter. Service was great - will be returning next time I'm in Brighton. Good atmosphere too.

There were 6 of us eating and every single one of us walked saying it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Where the ideas come from I don't know because I have never eaten vegetarian food like it. Cocktails were all very yummy and the chocolate dessert to die for. Waiter was friendly interesting and obviously... More

Our friend is a vegetarian & he loves Terre a Terre. I now understand why. The menu sets out an array of unusual (or in my case, unheard of) ingredients for each nattily named dish. When it arrives, it is a thing of beauty; presented in an attractive and colourful way. It was tasty but I found it disconcerting that... More

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
