Very happy with this meal. A different type of Indian restaurant that serves absolutely fantastic food. The service was brilliant too, I highly recommend!!

We had the prawn thali which came with small dishes of a king prawn curry, a vegetable curry, a lentil curry, rice and puree. All the curries had slightly differing, subtle tastes, the quantity good for lunch and with a bottle of Spanish red was just over £50 including brisk and efficient service

For what it was...small pots of staple vegatables on a platter...and a few bites of starter..did not justify the price. The food was ok, but nothing special. Staples like the rice and naan bread were not enough. Gujerati food is usually lovely and more reasonable. Lack of options and the set menu aspect together with The service was good though... More

I'm feeling a bit guilty being at odds with many good reviews for this place but ..... Went for lunch, waited ages for the chance to order our food and even longer to get it! Despite the public relation literature we found the food to be nothing special at all, not nearly as good as I eat every day at home... More

There is a fixed price menu here for either 2 or 3 courses, and for 2 people or 4 people - not sure what happens if you come in by yourself? The food was tasty, high quality Indian food but there wasn't enough rice or naan bread - I was full but my husband just needed more food - especially... More

We had the chicken and fish starters, it was just ok and the flavours were so so, the main courses were just ok again but nothing special. Nice touch with the... More

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. For the past 7 years each time we visit Brighton for a weekend ( usually twice a year) we have always booked a meal on the Saturday night at the Indian Summer. The food is delicious, there are little extras too like a little cup of soup while waiting for your starter.... More

This was my second visit, I had been there over a year ago and I still was very happy with the experience. Had a wonderful meal, first rate food and very friendly and accommodating staff. You cannot go wrong with their dishes. The tandoori chicken is great. Their vegetable platter stunning. I did not have desert, too full, but I... More
