We went in a family group of 5 with children. There was a good range of choice on the menu. The restaurant was busy but the service was efficient and prompt. The fish dishes we had were all very good and excellent value.

Overall very disappointed. The man who greeted us presumably owner/manager was so very rude! Made us feel like an inconvenience rather than customers. The mussels and spaghetti was very nice. The mixed fried seafood platter was well below average - the whitebait and calamari were...More

I love the Regency, so it's well past time I reviewed one of my favourite Brighton restaurants. It's permanently busy no matter what the weather, a sign of its quality not its location, but the staff are always friendly and enthusiastic and never make you...More

Ok, as a Brighton resident I am used to invite visitors to this restaurant to try their Fish & Chips. Most of the food on their menu is fine (some are mediocre and a few options are really bad). However, this restaurant has a real...More

There's nowhere better to tuck into some fresh fish 'n' chips than by the seaside, and The Regency Restaurant on the King's Road is the oldest seafood restaurant in Brighton and Hove with ocean views. Famous for its fresh fish and lively atmosphere, the restaurant has become a dining institution with both locals and visitors from out of town and boasts a cheery red and white tiled terrace that looks out over the West Pier, and a cosy dining room perfect for leisurely lunches and relaxed evening meals. The Regency Restaurant serves everything from locally caught fish to lobster, oysters, mussels, Dover sole, crab, prime Scotch steaks and a variety of vegetarian options along with an excellent wine list.
