This is a definite for any real pub enthusiasts . Great beer , great food and a great atmosphere. To be honest it’s really popular and if you are lucky enough to get a table stay for a few more rounds !!!

A nice old fashioned pub that does very good food. Large amounts of old tobacco tins nailed to the wall together with all sorts of other odds and end. Staff are nice and service is good. I would cheerfully go again

We had a great time at this pub.. The food was good, at a sensible price, a nice atmosphere.. I will return soon to enjoy another good evening there.

Had the most delicious roast here yesterday.. The best beef I’d had in ages, so tender, I could literally pull it apart. Lovely roasties, great carrots, spring greens and red cabbage that actually tasted of red cabbage not vinegar like the majority of pub push...More
