We go to this pub after work on a Friday from time to time and it never fails to frustrate that 90% of the tables appear to be reserved. Is this a pub or a restaurant? The consequence is a number of empty tables with reserved signs promising occupation in 30 mins or so (so no point sitting down) and... More

Huge lunch but quantity triumphed over quality. Vegan option of roast lunch was extra potatoes to replace the Yorkshire pudding. We were not enjoying it anyway and then finding a long hair in my wife's food finished it for us.

After waiting an hour they gave half of our food to someone else. I think they need to review their ticketing system when its busy, table numbers would help having said that, when the food came it was absolutely delicious and i'd say arguably one of the best roasts i've had in Brighton. Delicious potatoes, veg and the lentil cheese... More

Absolutely love the food here. The chili dog is simply to die for! Whether you are veggie or not you need to give this place a go, you will be leaving full and happy. It can get a bit crowded in the evenings but it is definitely worth it.

As vegetarian eateries go, this place has got it right. It's not all about heavily processed meat substitutes, it's about creating favourite pub meals with a little twist. The battered halloumi and chips was a delight. Kitchen can be a little noisy so avoid sitting right next to it.

I have been frequenting this charming little boozer for some time now, I can honestly say I have never had anything less than a warm friendly welcome with outstanding service any day of the week. The food is incredible.

This is the best place in Brighton if you are hungry. Super tasty and massive portions. Beers are not cheap so would not recommend as drinking only visit. The music is bit too loud later in the evening but very nice atmosphere.

Very nice pub grub veggie style. The portions are enormous. We just about managed to eat our meals (ginger beer battered halloumi and falafel burger), but looked in disbelief at other people's plates, especially the burrito. I liked the chips: nice and crisp skinny fries. Agree with other reviewers about slightly reducing the portion sizes. We got there at about... More

This pub is noted for its vegetarian food. It is usually warm and welcoming in cold weather, and some may find the hot gin a good choice as a pick-me-up.
