I visited The Troll's Pantry (which is part of The Hobgoblin pub) for an early evening meal having read some interesting TripAdvisor reviews and looking at their website. The locally sourced, non-GMO, organic, sustainable ingredients all sounded good. So I ordered a pint and sat...More

I've eaten dozens of trolls pantry burgers over the years and I haven't had a single one that doesn't deliver massive flavour! The menu this guy puts together is seasonal, local and all prepared on site - although you pay for it in price it's...More

On this occasion I picked a burger up, having been recommended by several people to give this place a visit. I order the 'nightfire' burger with a portion of beef dripping fries, and it has to be from the first bite to last one of...More

Mate and I both had the half pound no frills top of the menu burger with beetroot chilli costing a tenner each. The best burger either of us has ever had. Up there with tastiest food I've ever had full stop. Think the random 'Mmm'...More

The silence at the table spoke volumes; utterly delicious food and great ambience. Possibly the best burger experience we've had. Well worth a visit!

There's not really much to say except that you have to go immediately if you haven't already. The pictures speak for themselves.

It is by far, the rudest, most insulting visit at any pub in Brighton. Will NEVER go back. Went for burgers tonight (22/10/15) with friends. I ordered a beer, they ordered soda waters with lime (no alcohol). With this we ordered a burger each, then...More

Hi. I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. I fully investigated what happened and can offer you some kind of explanation. The bouncer who accosted you was not in fact an employee of either the Troll's Pantry or The Hobgoblin but as part of...More

Ive deducted a mark because the wait was unbelievably long, and it didnt seem that busy. But when it came I was really pleased with the burger which was delicious, probably the best I've had in Brighton and Ive been to most of the burger...More

Having set a goal to find the Best Burger in Brighton, it took me some time to cross compare the most well reputed burger eateries in town. The Troll's Pantry delivers an exciting array of different burgers that often change dependant on seasonal availability of...More

I'm disappointed to report that my experience with Troll's Pantry burgers is somewhat hit and miss. Whenever I've eaten there at the weekend when it's busy, the food has been absolutely top notch, and worth every single penny. Legit competition for Brighton's incomparable Burger Brothers,...More

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write a review and sorry to hear your experience has been hit and miss. It's very rare we receive complaints about the food so it saddens me to read this. I would really appreciate it if you could...More
