I have visited The Troll's Pantry on many occasions now and the food on my most recent visit was one of the best. A great burger, made with locally sourced, organic ingredients and high welfare grass fed meat. The ethos behind The Troll's Pantry food is good and the quality of ingredients shines through, the meat is tasty and well... More

Love the burgers here, but they are extortionate and not justifiable. I ordered a burger on its own and it came to like £14 once I added cheese to it. I asked for bacon as well but that wasn't put in the burger so I thought I'd been overcharged. I hadn't - that was just the price of the burger... More

I was keen to try these burgers after reading all the great reviews which were all pretty much accurate. The burgers are fabulous, albeit expensive but that's ok as I know they use the best ingredients, all ethically sourced. The fries, at extra cost were the real rip off and not that good. The restaurant is at the back of... More

Long story short: -The burgers are of a very high quality -They're more expensive than “normal fast food” but that reflects the quality of ingredients and ethics of the owner. See it as a treat, not as a regular bite to eat. -They accommodate veggies/vegans very well -The venue doesn’t suit The Troll's Pantry -The owner needs to explicitly explain... More

I went to The Hobgoblin today for lunch, having read a favourable newspaper review. It was at peak lunchtime on a sunny day.The cavernous bar was empty-strangely empty! I asked if they were serving food and they were. Then came the shock. The menu is burgers of every description. The cheapest I could find was £8 but they went up to £12 -for a burger?But... More

Trolls Pantry were guesting at the Polygon Popup in seven Dials on Saturday which I was looking forward to as I have heard good things about them in the past. The only reason I haven't been to the Hobgoblin is because I have read there can be a lengthy wait, but that wouldn't be an issue at Polygon. Well my... More

The burgers used to be better. Bring back the crispy onions! I've had an upset stomach since I visited last night. Think the burger may have been pink inside but didn't notice til the end. Disappointed. And £6 for cheesy chips? Sure they're good but they're not THAT good. There's plenty other places you could go for a burger of... More

Been hearing about the burgers for a while so decided to go for lunch one day. The pub it's in isn't much, the staff are really friendly and it's got a big student pub vibe, but none the less, we went anyway. The burgers are the dearest out of all the burger places I've tried, but they are pretty good.... More

Ok, I've been a fan since the start, back when this burger movement began. I have slowly watched the prices increase now they are now sky high. An 'Imperial' started out at a fiver! Brilliant, good quality burger for an affordable price. Now you are looking at £15 for a double... We arrived at the hobgoblin looking forward to a... More
