We stopped here for a drink & decided to eat too. The mulled cider was lovely. Staff were friendly & attentive. Food was OK but could have been better. The Sardine rillets were basically mashed sardines with spices on top of krisp rolls - a...More

I arrived to the restaurant to have dinner with friends. While i was waiting i realized the music was too loud to have a conversation with the people sitting around a table. The people sitting at the next table had to shout to each other...More

Had a weekend in Brighton and ended up at The Blue Man on a cold night. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff with a great selection of gins. Will definitely return.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nicely decorated to create those North African vibes. I'd go there again just for the 'cheesy Algerian dumplings' - really delicious with a great lightly spiced, dip on the side. We also had the bread and dips, zalouk (aubergine stew) and meat...More

We came here to meet some friends who had recommended it. There was no space upstairs so we went down the stairs to the more chilled area which has lots of low tables and stool-type chairs. I would have preferred slightly higher tables in this...More

Very good place for quick nutritious food. I had the Blue Man Wrap with falafel and it was great! Beautiful and hearty downstairs area. Really liked it!

The Blue Man is a relaxed and informal Cafe-Bar with Brighton Soul and North African flavour. You can pop in for coffee (best in town!), an amazing selection of tea, a lovely wine list or a bit of food if you're hungry. We're chilled and informal and will make you feel very welcome. We have a beautiful brunch menu that we serve from 10am to 4pm and all day, every day we have our tapas and sharing menu. If you feel like something sweet, we've teamed up with local artisan ice cream makers, Boho Gelato who have created a special ice cream and sorbet list that reflects our North African flavour.
