Wanted something a bit different to big chain offerings and found this on Google. On a turning off the main road, it was dark when we visited, and the turning does not look very promising but persevere, it's worth it. Lovely cup of tea, warm scones with cream and jam (nearly as good as my wife's). Freindly service and some... More

Vas was very accommodating for our hen party group and allowed us to book the whole place out for our party! Talk of Tea was very cosy and had a lovely atmosphere!! The brownie was delicious!!

If you want traditional afternoon tea with fine bone china and sandwiches with crusts cut off then don't visit here. But if you want a friendly, comfortable and welcoming tea shop with good food, huge slabs of cakes and a massive selection of teas then this is the place for you. We had afternoon tea with lovely sandwiches, scones and... More

Difficult to find as not in a Main Street of Brighton, a talk of tea is nevertheless a gem of a place. Small and cozy, decorated to perfection in warm and welcoming colours, it's already a pleasure from the second you walk in. The waitress was so nice, very helpful in the choice of cakes and teas. Really knew her... More

My friend and I looked on Tripadvisor to see where the best place to go for afternoon tea as on a trip to Brighton for my birthday. Bit disappointed as we had two places & wished we picked the other one! We chose coffee & hot chocolate rather than tea, but both were lukewarm. Unfortunately she was in the kitchen... More

I brought my best friend here for afternoon tea for her birthday. The service was second to none, Marta and Vas saw to our every need. The sandwiches were delicious, the scones delectable and we were almost too stuffed for the brownies, but we powered through. The selection of teas is mind-boggling for such a tiny tea room which has... More

Nice and cute small place with lots of tea variety together with cake and sandwiches. Nice music and quality day going for Saturday afternoon. Worth visiting if you're in Brighton

I popped in for a cuppa and piece of cake, so pleased I did. They have a great selection available, I went for a Rooibos banana cupcake tea. It was divine. There are a selection of cakes available and thankfully a few gluten free options! I went with a warmed chocolate brownie. It was an incredibly tasty, gooey treat. It... More

I was a little nervous on arriving at Talk of Tea the other day to find a new proprietor at the helm. But my fears were quickly overcome on introduction to the welcoming new owner Vas, who although having no previous catering experience, has risen to the challenge of taking over this homely but quality teashop just last week. Ably... More

Warm and friendly staff, cosy and comfortable place, fairly small, therefore intimate, it feels a bit like being home. There are pages and pages of tea selection but the staff is happy to make recommendations based on your tastes. They are very attentive too and if your order seems a bit off - e.g. cream cheese on a toasted sandwich,... More
