It'd been a while since many of the large group had been here, me included. We'd lost the love after some mediocre visits, but this rekindled my interest. It's the nearest I can find to a gastro pub, it's not trying to be restaurant but...More

We had a very good evening here, great atmosphere and excellent dinner. Service was excellent too - can't fault it and would recommend to anyone. High standard of cooking for a pub - they really know what they are doing.

Good food cooked to order in an open kitchen. A lovely well preserved building with big windows that help create a relaxed airy atmosphere. Given the proximity to the centre of Brighton easy street parking.

Friendly, good beer, fine rose, kids playing happily, the spiciedy Bombay Mix ever. A lovely way to relax after a marathon walk. If only all pubs were like this.

Fun, welcoming pub with a choice of comfy chairs or tables and a few seats outside. It's an classic pub and still retains a lot of original features, but has been decorated with lots of mirrors and candles. We had dinner before walking to The...More

Located just a short walk from Seven Dials, the Chimney House offers something for everyone from a cup of tea and a slice of cake, pint of Harveys, glass of prosecco, dirty little burger or a relaxed three course meal. We strive to source our ingredients from within Sussex with fish from Shoreham and Newhaven, fruit and vegetables from local farms and glasshouses as well as meat from Garlic Wood Farm. We are open all day Tuesday to Sunday and look forward to seeing you even if its just for a jar of chutney.
