Ordered delivery, duck red curry and tempura prawns came to almost £19 (no rice ordered, made that myself). Thought this was very expensive but expected it to be high quality. Unfortunately it was very standard - the tempura prawns in particular were pretty disappointing and...More

Thus was an old haunt we remembered to revisit with the family and good friends. A bank holiday Saturday so glad we booked. The food was great and the service attentive. Definitely a great value with the Afternoon special at £16 for 3 courses

Not going to beat around the bush... AWFUL! I ordered a prawn soup which they claimed was a ‘guiness world record winner’ and it was actually like dishwater with 2 prawns. I couldn’t eat it, it was physically making me feel ill. I wouldn’t go...More

Visited as a surprise for my partner, have had great experiences before and wasn’t disappointed! Great customer experience, lovey atmosphere, with very friendly and helpful staff! The mixed starter was really tasty, as was the Phad Thai, and Massamam curry, just right!

My friend and I got a deliveroo from here. We got rice, tofu green curry, tofu massaman curry, veg wraps and the veg starters for 2. Most of this was inedible. The wraps were mostly huge chunks of celery and an insanely tiny portion. The...More

Description
Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.
