We popped in for a quick supper and found the food to be varied and very good quality. The staff were very friendly and the food reasonably priced. Will go back!

My favourite restaurant ever. I have never, in the many years of using this restaurant, had a bad food experience. Always polite friendly & very helpful staff and diners are never ever rushed. Food always hot with great presentation. Great varied menu, with plenty of...More

We ate here as a family of 4, 3 adults and one teenager. The restaurant is quite tucked away, but is very central to Brighton. We were impressed, we chose from the afternoon special menu, which offers either a 1, 2 or 3 course meal....More

We ate at Sabai Thai Gastrobar for the first time last night & it may well have been the best Thai meal I've eaten in Brighton. What made it so good? Nice decor, great location, smiley waitresses, wonderful menu & brilliant service. As a vegetarian,...More

A nice Thai meal which I found fairly authentic although I tend to find all Thai restaurants milk the costs . One other thing that really irritated me was that my meal was spoiled by the invasion of Deliveroo drivers who sat round the bar...More

Definitely recommended, arrived late Saturday night but were treated courteously, and food arrived promptly (but not too quickly so we knew it had been well cooked. Will definitely go back.

I ordered this as a takeaway. However, in my experience pad thai has been a foolproof option that travels well, and I don't think it was the travel that made this pad thai what it was. I ordered the veggie pad thai with a side...More

Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.
