I was looking forward to going back to Aguadulce because the food was so delicious about 3 years ago when I went but the quality of food is not as great as it used to be. I wouldn't recommend the chicken liver or albóndigas... The...More

This has always been our favourite ‘go to’ Spanish restaurant in Brighton. Nothing fancy but good authentic food with friendly service. Today the second we walked in we knew something had changed. The restaurant was empty but two tables were dirty with plates and paella...More

With all the chain restaurants in Brighton it was really nice to find an authentic Spanish restaurant. The food was delicious, very flavoursome paella and nibbles were amazing. Our jug of Sangria went down nicely with our meal and we were adequately full by the...More

Last time we came here was two years ago and it was lovely. Came here tonight and we were very disappointed. The tapas was fine, well cooked and delicious. But the paella was well below par. We had to order two lots of the same...More

Much enjoyed the tapas here. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening. I highly recommend the black pudding (morcilla). We visited 2 years ago and it was very busy. If you want a good Spanish restaurant this will do for you

The food was tasty and the service was excellent with a few jokes thrown in for free. Definitely worth visiting.

We found this place on Tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed at all. We had spinach and jamon croquettes, potatoes with the best sauce I've ever had in my life (I can't remember the name, but it's in the starters section of the menu), and...More

Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and day-trippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. The restaurant has homely, um-pretentious and informal, with a very chilled vibe and the service is friendly. Strongly recommended are the Paellas and Rice dishes of which they are absolute specialists. Pop in for a glass of Sherry from their extensive selection, have it with a little tapa, or for a Schooner of the best Spanish beer imported in to the UK. Another feature worth mentioning is their menu which can be entirely prepared in a CELIAC friendly way. Gluten-free beers are also available and their gluten-free bread is baked in house by the Head Chef.
