A group of us visited AguaDulce, one of whom had never eaten tapas before. I promised him all would be well, and I was proved right. (I love it when that happens). We ordered a selection of dishes to share, with helpful advice from the...More

I have visited this Restaurant many times and am never disappointed. Always the best tasting food and the friendliest service. I introduced my parents and it is now the family favorite when they come to visit Brighton. I HIGHLY recommend!!

We got a walk-in table for 5 people at a relatively busy time. We were seated by the owner who was very friendly. He had a chat with us and gave some recommendations for food when we asked. We ordered various different dishes, which all...More

I've been here many, many times on different occasions; friends, family, business, and probably double all of those just on my own! *Service* Always so welcoming, even during "busy" times; I use air quotes because everyone has a different view of what busy is. On...More

We stopped in here to have some late evening tapas and a bottle of wine. The restaurant didn't appear to have a huge amount of atmosphere but that didn't matter to us and once sat down we were very cosy and found it a nice...More

Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and day-trippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. The restaurant has homely, um-pretentious and informal, with a very chilled vibe and the service is friendly. Strongly recommended are the Paellas and Rice dishes of which they are absolute specialists. Pop in for a glass of Sherry from their extensive selection, have it with a little tapa, or for a Schooner of the best Spanish beer imported in to the UK. Another feature worth mentioning is their menu which can be entirely prepared in a CELIAC friendly way. Gluten-free beers are also available and their gluten-free bread is baked in house by the Head Chef.
