I've been here twice - fantastic authentic thai food with fab cocktails too. Go off menu. They make up amazing cocktails. The bar staff brought me extra chilli flakes for my pad thai, even though it was a very busy Saturday night! Would recommend. Well priced food too.

I can't review this pub from a beer drinkers perspective, I'll leave that to the CAMRA crowd. I'll just tell you what I found. It's a grand old gin palace that has been modernised but not so much that it's lost all it's charm. My partner had a beer, and I had a lime and soda and I was pleasantly... More

Dark and interesting. Good selection of spirits and great friendly service. Also great music. They do a very good roast and the Thai food every other day than Sunday is great.

I have passed this pub many times to/from home. Always packed. Thus nipped in. Great selection of beer! Great mix of music! Friendly bar folks! Great mix of folks, with no pretense! Most expensive price I have paid for pint since moving down from London ouch! £5.20/pint. Music is loud it is not age thing, just came back from Ibiza... More

Came here with a larger group for a work leaving do. And we sat upstairs in a booth/corner area. This wasn't ideal for eating because it was a hot evening and there were quite a few of us but we ordered anyway. The place itself is nice, with a good atmosphere and a beautiful staircase running upstairs. And it got... More

We have walked past The Wick on a Friday evening on our way to another restaurant and it always appeared packed with a lot of people standing outside in the sunshine. It looked inviting so thought we would give it a try on a quieter night. Have read a few comments on here unconnected to the food so I'll start... More

This pub is what a pub should be - full of character, a lively selection of punters from many walks of life, great choice of drinks and cheap and tasty Thai food to soak up all the booze. I'm lucky it's so close to me, as it's in a great location to stagger across the square and back home from.... More

We hadn't been here before but had such a good night. The pub was quirky with good music and a good mix of people. We had dinner which was Thai. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the pad Thai and it was easily the best I've had. We then descended downstairs to have drinks and got chatting to... More
