Read all the positive reviews and decided to dine here based on them. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived with 2 large parties downstairs. Ordered drinks, starters & mains within 10 minutes of arriving. Received our drinks within 5 minutes of ordering however...More

Worth a visit if you are in Brighton or Hove. Food is plentiful and very tasteful. Ambiance and staff added to make this one of the best nights I have had out in Brighton. I will be back and the Ice Cream. T

We weren't expecting much, it was 10.30 and almost everything was closed. But when we arrived to this place the workers were really nice and the food was great!

Lovely ambience and set out in main restaurant with a good varied menu and a great selection of fish / meat / pasta specials. Service was friendly and accommodating - I forgot to mention a dietary requirement and the response was above what was needed...More

We were in Brighton for the day and wanted lunch. Quickly typed in places to eat and this gem appeared. It was very quaint. There isn't a lot of seats but thankfully we didn't have too much trouble getting a seat for 6 of us....More

La Capannina offers some decent Italian food which is better than other places for its price. Their fritto misto is polluted by a useless chuck of salmon, but it's edible. Overall, I recommend it.

It's taken me a while to write this review, but this restaurant has left a lasting impression on myself and my partner. The food was delicious, couldn't fault the food, service, or atmosphere. Good honest Italian food will definitely be coming back whenever I am...More

Didn't see any gluten free options openly available. My daughters gluten free so you have my sympathy. Worth a phone call though

Plenty of pasta dishes, but also catering for meat and fish eaters. Really good olives, and the house wine is very drinkable. Family run and reasonably priced. Enjoy
