Slow service to seat. Tiny portion of calamari to start ! Main was hard pasta small bit of salmon and vodka from new menu. Decidedly average. Carluccios should be getting their pasta absolutely spot on .. it's an Italian after all. I could do better with Waitrose pasta and a pasta sauce. Disappointed 😔

We walked in at about 11.45 so not a busy time, we actually go ignored...eventually I attracted a member of he service staff and asked if they could accommodate a party of 8 for coffee and pastries. The server walked away and never returned...we were mortified, left quickly went across the road to a coffee shop next to the Myhotel... More

I went to this restaurant today with a very close friend visiting from France .When I arrived in the entrance foyer there was a lady behind the counter putting salad into a bowl in the display ....... She had long nails and no gloves on !!!!!!! She then turned and wiped her hands quickly on a wet cloth , she... More

Food not special, service not special, all in all , I think they're just trading on the name. There are several 'independent' food outlets/restaurants in Brighton, this one ranks in the 'boring' section.

Carluccio's can be relied on for its quality and its generally reasonable prices. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there during our recent stay in Brighton. The food was well presented and tasty. I do wish however that the waiters would stop trying to encourage customers to 'add' extras onto their order (I suspect they have been told by management... More

More often than not as a coelic, eating out is problematic for me. This was not the case at Carluccio's, Brighton. Our delightful waitress Molly was extremely attentive, and I was very impressed by how she not only quickly understood my awkward dietry needs, but made intuitive (and delicious!) serving suggestions, London certainly doesn't have service like this! Lovely experience!... More

Carluccio's is a fondly-remembered favourite from when we used to live in Brighton. From our most recent experience it deserves its five stars for quality, value-for-money.... and for flexibility. We ordered the 'Antipasto Grande' for two. (Or similar. I tried to find the actual name from the web but eventually gave up in frustration. In contrast to the restaurant, Carluccio's... More

We visited this Carluccio's as we have had great experiences at our local Glasgow restaurant and enjoyed a lovely meal at Canary Wharf Caluccio's at the weekend. The restaurant was very quiet, surprising as the Pizza Express across the road was very busy. I had the crab macaroni starter, it was dry and looked as though it had been coooked... More

Late afternoon on a Saturday and, not coming from Brighton, where can we go to eat? We stumbled across Carluccio's and were glad that we did. The food was excellent, as too was the service. Not too pricey for an Italian either - we paid approx £25.00 per head for a main course, dessert and drinks. When we arrived the... More

Visited this branch yesterday for a quick lunch as we had the day off. Food was great and staff were lovely, everything was served in a timely manner and we also enjoyed a taste of their lovely cocktails. The atmosphere was great and we all agreed that we will have to come back soon. All in all, we felt very... More
