Visited the Star after a day walking the South Downs Way and we were not disappointed. The food was great, the service friendly and knowledgeable and the music they played was fantastic! We will definitely be recommending it.

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff and well presented tasteful food at a reasonable price. Large sized portions! Reasonable range of courses offered on the menu. Hotel building is very old and some of the decorations are quirky. Would recommend this restaurant.
