We were staying in a bed and breakfast in Alfriston so ate here one evening and really enjoyed the food. So much so that we returned for lunch the following day after a morning walking! Staff very friendly. Great real ale too!

Terrific ambiance, great yard to have a drink outside. Unfortunately no availability for us to eat that evening but we will try another time.

Such a great vibe. Warm, cosy, and the food was delicious. Had the lamb shank and it was huge and divine. Must visit if you are in the area.
