Wen we asked to see the menu before agreeing to a table the waitress flick a menu at us across the bar and walked off - should have left then. Staff showed very little interest when serving. We asked and were told the chilli had a little kick, well it had absolutely no kick, was watery and full of cheese.... More

We booked for supper over the Easter weekend. Despite being pleasantly busy (about half full) the place was in chaos and the staff unable to cope. We asked for some bread to nibble on, expecting bread rolls or slices of French bread (hardly unusual) and got some white slices buttered with unsalted butter. Pretty unpleasant. My husband sent his starter... More

Sat outside had very nice sandwich served with tortilla chips and coleslaw on the side, good choice of desserts and good coffee. Very pleasant staff on a fairy busy weekend.

Found this Bistro by chance. Location was very appealing however few customers which surprised us considering weather was superb and is right on the seafront. Once seated if was obvious the hygiene standards were poor. The two waitresses had very little to do so there was no excuse for dirty tables, chairs and mats. Cutlery left on the floor and... More

Such a friendly day time team, food had potential. It is all about the view. Go, have coffee and cake, or a beer, soak up the atmosphere

Visited today for a wine and lager, and sit down outside looking at the fantastic view from their terrace, there were four empty tables outside all full of past diners/drinkers plates glasses cutlery etc etc, customers were coming up clearing tables, to use them. On going inside the counter, was at least a third covered in used plates leftover meals... More

I visit here approximately twice a month. This month I have been twice for coffee. One person working. 20 minute wait I was told for a coffee! The bar had barely any space on it as it was full of dirty plates, cups and glasses! How on earth can one person manage on their own where food and drink is... More

Terrible, dirty glasses & plates left on bar. Waitress had no customer service skills. Place could do with a good clean & paint. Prawn salad was a joke = one tiny piece of avocado, supermarket bread. Such a dissapointment from previous visits, makes me think it's under New management who don't have a clue!!!!! Will not return.

Thought we would give it another try, but just for a drink this time! No change. Outside empty table full of dirty China. Bar cluttered with dirty China. Apparently don't have any ginger ale. So we gave that a miss and went to the Grand Hotel. Much better choice.
