I love the Curator! It serves the best coffee in Devon. The food is excellent and is cooked fresh. This is not a chain but a coffee shop that is run by young Italian brothers. I love the easy-going atmosphere, the magazines and the jugs of water. It is obvious that this is a business with a heart and soul.

Love this stylish cafe with on street tables. Really lovely staff. GREAT cake with exciting gluten free cake i.e NOT only a chocolate brownie/lemon polenta cake... gets very dull cafe to cafe if your gluten free. We love choice too! Like the art and aesthetic. Comfortable and relaxed, good for people watching.

Love the cool vibe, the coffee and the simple food. You can sit inside or out - also has an upstairs for food/coffee. Vintage bike posters on the wall (as well as bikes). A must if you stop in Totnes

This is a really hip place near the bridge with tables outside and in. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on sunny March mornings on both occasions we visited for breakfast. Great coffee. Can recommend the toasted brioche with jam or honey and poached eggs with excellent quality sausage. Staff are charming.

Lovely quality pastries and nice coffee, was very busy, so they must be doing something right. Opens early as well, can recommend.

Great pastry & great coffee! Bit noisy inside for us but outside the location sees you in amongst the bustle of the town but with good enough table space.

Beautiful tasting coffee. But staff can be a bit curt, and the cafe sometimes feels a bit unkempt. Probably because they're usually so busy. The price differential of about 60p for a decaf soy cappuccino is far too great on a small cup. We should not be so discriminated against - especially in Totnes!

A victim of its own success. Too busy, too noisy, too slow. Coffee late and nothing special, cups too small by modern standards. Chairs uncomfortable, and too many stools - which of course discourage you from lingering. Not too keen on the clientele either - if you want to see and be seen as one of the new West Country... This bright and lively cafe is always full. And rightly so, it serves excellent Italian coffee and the cakes,,, you won't be able to tear yourself away. Dogs are welcome, which always gets my vote. The place to be seen!

Though can be hard to find a seat sometimes ( it's that popular!), we pop in everytime we visit Totnes, which is quite often! Their coffee is to die for! Believe me! The staff is a bit clumsy occasionally but loveable and extremely helpful! We are going to try soon their food, in the bistro on the first floor. I... More
