Called in her for a lunchtime snack. Proprietors were very friendly and took our order straight away. I had coronation chicken toastie and my wife had brie and bacon toastie. Both were very filling, delicious and nicely presented. Good food and friendly atmosphere.

We only went in for a cuppa, but the experience was good. Friendly couple who owned it and they chatted to us, being friendly, but knew when to leave us in peace to be with each other. Also did not get the impression that once we finished we had to go. Although we didn't have food there, those around us... More

Nice food, reasonable price. Lots of choice and although not diabetic or gluten intolerant some of my family are so I appreciated the extra mile this family go to to provide these choices. Very friendly staff, well worth a stop off if near to your hotel/holiday flat.

My wife and I found the Singing Kettle whilst on holiday in Devon having googled 'gluten free cream teas' The owners were helpful and very knowledgeable about the needs of the gluten intolerant. Food was amazing. First cream tea for 35 years. Won't be the last

We came here for a cream tea and were disappointed. The scones were very small and did not appear to be fresh. Excellent selection of hot drinks and cakes.

Natalie J Thank you for your review as all feed back is important to us. We have read it and feel that we must give you a fair response. We used to give one bigger scone for the cream tea. A top baker in the City of London told us that it would be better to give two smaller scones.... More

Visited over the Easter weekend for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the cafe is both quaint, clean and spacious. Myself and partner had our 7 month old daughter with us and they were very helpful with her. My breakfast (full English) was delightful and my partner who describes herself as a 'fussy vegetarian' thought the breakfast she had... More
