In spite of being very busy for mothers day, my family and I enjoyed our Sunday roasts. Our reserved table was ready. The bar staff took our order and drinks choices with no waiting and the short queue at the carvery moved quickly. The food was delicious, fresh, hot and plentiful, and the gravy was very tasty. A waitress took... More

Went for a walk around Torquay and babacombe decided to have lunch before going back home. On arrival not to bad bit lively, ordered two carvery lunches and two small orange juice and lemonade bit pricey just under £25. Meats were cooked fine vegetables were a bit over cooked roast potatoes soft not crispy. It became noisy at the bar... More

Lovely hotel-exceptionally clean and tidy Huge bedroom and very nice staff. Only minor dislike was breakfast which would benefit from smaller better quality ingredients but overall would definitely recommend staying here. 2 minutes walk to theatre and lovely walk outside on quite promenade.

Annual family visit for a carvery just before Christmas. Sunday roast, turkey, pork, beef or gammon, plenty of vegetables - £9.95 , desserts £5.50 but well worth it.

Paying £10 for a carvery you'd expect decent food! Completely flavourless ! meat was ok (the little stingy bit we got) ,anemic sausages ,frozen yorkshires ,raw swede, flavourless potatoes ! Used to be lovely don't know what happened ! So shocked ! Barman was really helpful but the chef carving the meat was hideously rude ! Not worth the money... More

Only wanted a snack lunch so ordered the Roast Pork and Apple sandwich. What a joy, super thick wholemeal bread, copious amount of meat and served with a small portion of chips and salad. Best sandwich I've had in many years.
