Food was lovely, although I'm not sure it was lovely enough to justify the price. Starters were small and vegetables had to be ordered separately from the mains. The wait for each course to be served was ridiculous. Our table was booked for 6.30 because they had said they needed us to leave by 9.00 for another booking (not sure... More

Went with a party of 5 and had a wonderful, and inventive meal. The Jacob's Ladder Beef was fabulous as was the Calves Lives others in the party had. The Staff were unobtrusive, but highly attentive and always bright and cheerful with a good sence of homour.

Had a wonderful meal here last night, the main reason for this review is our waitress Helena, she could not have done enough for us. Very friendly, efficient and welcoming! I went on the set menu which was lovely and my boyfriend had the lamb which he could not fault. The atmosphere was nice and the wine was delicious. All the... More

Went as part of a group of 12 booked for the saturday evening. Had to go elsewhere for pre dinner drinks as no room available downstairs as nobody stands at the bar, its all seated so they would not let you in! Had a lift which was good for me due to my mobility. Could not pre-order food, which is... More

The fillet steak is amazing, the triple cooked chips are fantastic, and the Malbec was great to wash it down, the restaurant decor is classy and comfortable for business or family, we will certainly visit again

We travelled to Plymouth on our motorhome. We dined at the Barbican Kitchen. We were warmly greeted on our arrival and shown to our table. After dining here I found the quality of the food that was served was of an average standard. Although the food was fine, I was not absolutely blown away with what I had. I thought... More

We had a lovely lunch at the Barbican Kitchen today. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the Mango Pavlova was heavenly. Tried a Plymouth Sloe Gin with bitter lemon, great drink. I am a wheelchair user and the lift was easy to use. We will definitely be back.
