This place is truly unique...Went in for an late sunday roast with the family and we were treated like family! The food was very tasty (and plenty of it!) and the service exceptional throughout. Although they were very busy, we did not have to wait long for the food to arrive or did we feel rushed at any point. Cannot... More

Very nice food and setting with particularly good service. Beer (real ale) was also impressive. Would certainly visit again.

Booked in advance as always! Food perfect! Service perfect! Young barmaid with a GSOH too just makes the hole experience that much better & she managed the bar perfectly! Still a hidden gem of a place! Thanks again!

After making the effort to get to the pub, we were totally ignored at the bar, without any acknowledgement that we'd even arrived and were waiting to be served! This was on Good Friday and they weren't busy.

Superb atmosphere and staff. Never packed and always cosy. Perfect for winter afternoons, evenings, and away from the hustle and bustle of the Barbican.

Description
Pleasantly situated overlooking the Barbican, the Fishermans Arms is a country pub located in the middle of Britain's Ocean City. Real ales, a warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent food. The food is good quality and great value. Reputedly the second oldest pub in Plymouth (grade 2 listed), we are steeped in history and have one of the last surviving remnants of the original Plymouth Castle.
