We were a large group headed out for a dinner. Eastern Eye was welcoming and the restaurant is very nice. The waiter had good suggestions and the food was very tasty. I didn't appreciate the responses I received when trying to pay the bill. Customer respect should be king and I'm afraid they missed that lesson.

A group of 7 ate at this restaurant on Saturday. We didn't have a booking but the staff were excellent and really looked after us. We were made very welcome. As for the food,,, well it was the best Indian meal I have ever had. It was wonderful. If I were to visit Plymouth again I would definitely go back.

We absolutely adore this restaurant. It never fails to deliver on quality, quantity, ambiance and service. This is always our first choice of restaurant when in the area. We like to try different flavours, so we tell our waiter the meats and heat we like and leave the dish to be compiled by the chef. This for us is a fantastic... More

We booked a table for seven, as we were a large group we asked for a varied selection of food at £20 per head, they duly served us up a meal which was pretty average at best. They then charged us approx £30 per head for our meal, plus drinks. We queried this as we had asked for food equating... More

Food was good, but not worth the exorbitant prices. After all this is not London. For the cramped seating arrangements, not worth the price. There are quite a few more salubrious surroundings to frequent if you want to pay over £140 for a meal (for 4) with no starter or desert and a single drink each. I would probably recommend... More

This is a highly recommended restaurant serving an excellent range of authentic dishes. I had Acharie Special and my wife had Baharie Special. Both of these dishes were very tasty with an interesting tang. Obviously prepared with considerable care. The welcome and the decor is excellent, as is the service. Bear in mind, we eat a lot of spicy food... More

Firstly thank you for your review and the kind words about our food. We are however concerned that you feel we are solely at fault for your upset stomachs. As a professional business operating in the city for well over 20 years we take ourselves, our food and the hygiene of the business very seriously indeed. Our hard one reputation... More

Fantastic meal with generous portions, authentic dishes and very diverse menu. Service was very attentive and timely. We arrived at 1845 and by 1900 it was packed on a Thursday night. Go early and eat well!!
