This is the second time we have stopped off here. The garden is lovey and peaceful. We shared the cheese scones and a Devon cream tea. Both were excellent and homemade. The portions were generous and good value. I note the occasional negative comment about...More

We enjoyed some extraordinary cakes (spinach-hazelnut, lemon-potato,...) and great cream tea! The staff is very friendly and the decoration is like a dream - flowers in teapots and spoons with hearts on it. Wochenende loved it!

The gardens are lovely, and the food was very nice, with spiced buns extremely tasty. Coffee was OK.All in all a bit expensive.

After a long walk, we came across this delightful cafe with sumptuous homemade cakes, scones, biscuits etc ..., incredibly reasonably priced too. The lady serving us was lovely, friendly, polite and very efficient. The gardens were beautiful and dog friendly.

Pit stop on a walk back to Lynton. Beautiful setting friendly staff and excellent menu choice. Sandwich huge and filling. Choice of gluten free cake options. Toilet facilities (good to know if walking).

This is the perfect cafe for a break on the SW coastal path. A lovely garden setting. The staff are friendly and efficient, all volunteers. Nice selection of teas and snacks.

Because it's tucked away on the lee abbey estate on a half term weekend in June, there were extensive delays in waiting for credit card transactions to be processed. But it was a nice day and in no hurry. Lunch was a cup of delicious...More
