I must say I haven't had anything but a roast here (always visited on Sundays) and I love it. Fresh vegs, homemade Yorkshire puddings, nice meats. A 10 out of 10 for me. Be ready to be in a very relaxed atmosphere (no place for those who are in a rush) and enjoy your roast. I like the place (especially... More

Great food, friendly service and good choice of beers. Not massive portions but you don't need them as the food is very good quality and we feel the lunch set menu is great value for money. We have ate here for lunch 2-3 times and we are always full up on two courses, which is good as I'm not a... More

I have been 3 times in this restaurant: the food is amazing and the amount of food is considerably big.The couple that runs this place is lovely and very professional. Furthermore, the atmosphere is perfect and it is the kind of place that you can relax in completely with a beautiful decoration and nice music.I definitely recommend to everybody.😍

My wife has IBS & eating out is usually a pain as she has over 30 allergies! We drop in for lunch on May Bank Holiday & nothing was too much trouble even though we were using the fixed price menu. Anything that my wife could not cope with was changed & the food was truly excellent. It was an... More

Absolutely wonderful vegan risotto and open in the evening too. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful with regard to vegan food and wine. They even serve a great vegan prosecco.

We visited this place on the bank holiday weekend and had a lovely meal. All three courses were very good but the scallops I had for starter was excellent. They had a nice selection of wines and the place had a good lively atmosphere

Noticed the sandwich board outside John Lewis advertising a 2-course fixed price menu so tried it out. Reasonable range that gave me and my wife a good choice for the money - £8 one- £10 two- & 12 three-Courses. We both had a Seared Purple-sprouting Broccoli salad which was small but ooh the taste! Worth every penny. Main course was... More

We were on a weekend away in Exeter and went on someone's recommendation. Initially we were put off by how small it looked and also the local pub look. Admittedly a very nice local pub but still a local pub. Luckily we overcome this initial misgivings. Out the back is a small but perfectly formed eating area. Cosy is probably... More

We had the set lunch, which was 2 courses for about a tenner. The food was extremely well cooked and certainly adequate portions for lunch. The service was friendly and professional. Overall I would say this is a gem of a place and will certainly be returning.

Description
The Oddfellows is a stone's throw away from Exeter's main shopping centre. This is a very friendly unpretentious gastro style pub, with a sociable, down to earth atmosphere. With a fantastic lunch starting at £10 for 2 courses, but still offering some pub classics like fish & chips, but one properly! Fine Ale, in the Good Pub Guide 2014, 2015 & 2016 result! Great wines! Just take a load off and visit us!
