The Mermaid is one of our regular bisits. It's good food in traditional surroundings. They serve great fish and chips as well as other dishes. The staff is amiable. Relaxing atmosphere and pleasant restaurant. We have never been disappointed yet. Definitely worth a pit stop.

Our visit here was random as we didn’t realise a lot of places close on a Sunday in St Ives so we came into this restaurant and I’m so glad we did. It’s really funky inside with all the little decorations and stores on the...More

Lovely little place, great staff and tasty food. The fish was cooked well, it was seasoned perfectly. The pot of seafood and the monkfish, tiger prawn and chorizo skewers were just what we were looking for. Would certainly revisit.

I can't answer your question as I don't know how they cook all their food, you would have to ask the restaurant directly.
