Very good meal . Did not like the comment about Cornish Mead not being up too much. Not good for up country and Cornish relations.

We had the most wonderful lunch and its a place we have driven past a lot over the years its been open, never again !! love the Moroccan vibe with the menu and the food was so fresh and full of flavour . There is a deli/wine shop where we picked up a few bottles of wine that were priced... More

We were delighted with our roast beef and fresh seasonal vegetables. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere warm and inviting. We will definitely be going back soon and highly recommend this wonderful little establishment.

Stopping nearby and having read the reviews we decided to give this place a try. Not a busy night, but warm and welcoming. Chicken croquettes for a starter were excellent, followed by a flatbread. Something different to what we normally eat on an evening out and very enjoyable. Desserts were also very good, crime brûlée and a fig and rum... More

Great lunch and service here and a fantastic photographic exhibition from Carinthia West - 70's jagger, Bowie, Harrison etc. Excellent beef shin and chorizo casserole, house Shiraz surprisingly good. Looking forward to next time.

First time here whilst staying with a friend locally for the weekend. Small snug eating area with pine table and chairs and a very hot fire on the go. The food menu is small but the food is amazing and very much worth the money. With a drink I would say the per person cost is about £13/15 each. Also... More

One of the worst days to leave the house, torrential rain, however as soon as you walk into Scarletts, you settle into a very comfortable restaurant, vibrant art work, log burner, and attentive service. The breakfast was superb, local ingredients , eggs that taste as they should, cooked with herbs and spices that bring a whole new taste to the... More

Not just a seller of good wines Scarlet is a perfect setting for a family get together, lunch or evening the food is excellent. I particularly like that we can take a bus to and from Lelant enabling everyone to enjoy a drink. Great for those holidaying in St.Ives who don't want to move their car!

Yet another delicious lunch at scarlet wines..this time most welcome after having walked there from St Ives. The mix of flavours is perfect. We both enjoyed the crab fritter flat breads and the children devoured the haloumi and (what has now become standard) the bowl of yummy patatas bravas. Washed down with one of the most refreshing beers I've had... More

My husband and I called in with my daughter and son-in-law for something to eat before they travelled back up country after a week's stay in St Ives. Although we live locally we have never visited Scarlet Wines before and certainly wish we had. The staff were very friendly and on a very cold day it was so warm and... More
