Enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast today. Generous portion, expectations set by full description of what would be recieved on the menu. Food was freshly cooked, piping hot and very tasty. This is the second visit for breakfast we've made over our last two trips to Cornwall and we'll definitely be back again next time

The cafe at the train station was closed due to remodelling and we had a two hour wait for our train. We walked across the street and discovered this small cafe. The waitress was extremely friendly and it had a nice selection of vegetarian food. I had a nice jacket potato which was served with a tasty fresh side salad... More

We had a nice takeaway meal here last night. But Waited a long time for it as there was only one staff member serving/taking orders/cooking. It's a shame you don't have a children's menu as ended up buying a child a portion of fish (which he didn't finish as too big) rather than cod bites which he would have eaten.... More

Have had fish and chips at the Fat Fish on previous holidays in the area and never let us down yet - beautifully cooked good portions.

Very slow to serve despite being a 'fast food' cafe, chips were frozen and tipped out of a bag that was sitting on the side of the fryer. The cod was over-cooked and quite dry, the counter top was greasy and covered in salt, and was not very clean. The counter assistant was surly and his clothes didn't look very... More

Stopped here for a quick bite, although 'fast' food this was not. The takeaway part is slowed by the sit down part, which appears to take precedence. Quality not great either, especially given the above average prices. Unlikely to use again.

Went here for a fish supper at lunch time while out exploring Penzance. Fish was fresh, batter just crispy enough and chips were tasty. Price was very reasonable for what we got.

Fabulous value café. Service friendly and efficient. Recommend the mushrooms on toast, huge portion and scrummy. Coffee served hot and did not go cold before food arrived. Will definitely eat here again when in Penzance.
