We dined here on our first night at the hotel as part of the 'deal'. We initially did not plan to eat here the second night, but the quality of the food and the friendly service was such that the decision to revisit for the second evening was a forgone conclusion. The food was imaginatively presented and beautifully cooked. The... More

We met friends there for dinner, we arrived after them and they had been given menus to look at. We ordered pre- dinner drinks, but were not given menus to look at. Every few minutes a member of staff would appear asking ''do you know what you want yet?''. When we went into restaurant, there was an overwhelming smell of... More

The restaurant opens from 5:30 PM – 8:30PM. The food was good but higher priced than I had expected, Starters are £5-7, Mains £16-23, puddings £7 So with a glass of wine that’s about £35 a head. There is an early bird special with a starter and a main starting from £17 (5:30 to 7:00pm) But only finishing work at... More

We were staying in the apartments of this hotel recently. On the Friday night of our stay we decided to have a nicer meal and book in the restaurant. Booking was recommended when we checked in so we booked for 7.45. The restaurant was quite empty with only 3 other tables taken which was surprising for a Friday night however,... More

We ate here on our first night down at the Porth Veor villas and apartments, after a long drive down. Warm welcome from the waitress. She was very patient taking our drinks order as we took a while to decide. Jugs of water were also brought to the table along with some bread rolls. The prices on the a la... More

For my birthday we had a meal at this restaurant as we were staying in the villas. It did not begin well as the bread was inedible, although we were assured it was freshly baked. However, we soon forgot about this as we all had a lovely 3 course meal, made from fresh produce, cooked well and presented beautifully.

Food that was on offer was expensive , I never tasted a peppercorn sauce made of just white wine & peppercorns , the bar-b-q sauce was served cold , perhaps the chef needs a little more training as there was only 5 people in the restaurant

There is nothing quite so British as a mini-break to the Cornish coastline, and Beaucliffes is a stellar restaurant in Porth tucked away inside the Porth Veor Manor Hotel that is ideal for romantic mini-break meals for two. With coastal views and a superb modern dining room this restaurant has oodles of nostlagic charm without the decaying decor, and is popular with both daytrippers and locals. Beaucliffe's locally sourced, seasonally changing menu offers a variety of British classics with a noughties twist, and signature dishes include the medallions of Westcountry pork tenderloin with a red cabbage, garlic and lime coleslaw and mustard dressing, and the seared Cornish beef with colcannon mash and Guinness gravy.
