Rude staff, & completely unsympathetic. Had my partner in tears in the middle of the cafe today in front of everyone to see. After refusing a heavily pregnant lady to use the bathroom, when she was quite clearly in desperate need. What is wrong with people???

I arrived at the bakery before my wife and had sat down with something to eat and drink. My wife arrived 45 minutes before the closing time advertised on the door. The staff decided to start closing approx 40 minutes before the advertised closing time and then flatly refused to serve either myself or my wife despite me already being... More

Homemade, huge scone that was really tasty and not at all dry. Plenty of clotted cream which is very very important. Quality produce is clearly a way of life for this cafe and it is worth it. The tea was really tasty. My only issue was that I asked for my scone to warmed and it wasn't.

Popped in for coffee. Ordered one cappuccino and one large Americano. Cappuccino arrived badly slopped in saucer- no offer of clean saucer only a hand waived in the direction of thin paper napkins. Absolutely no taste of coffee whatsoever, and husband found his Americano equally lacking in any hint of coffee. Paying just under £5.00 for 2 coffees I would... More

The joy of living in Cornwall is getting to visit lots of lovely towns and explore the cafes and restaurants. This one tops our list of the best in Looe and by quite some margin. The team are so warm and welcoming and the decor and music make it wonderfully unique. We stopped in for lunch and had the most... More

Really nice place for afternoon tea, light lunch or morning coffee. We visited for lunch and found the choice of sandwiches and jacket potatoes and soup just what we wanted. I chose a toasted Brie and cranberry sandwich which was delicious and came with a good side salad. My husband has salami and Cornish blue which he said was good... More

Popped in for quick coffee on Sunday morning. Staff were really friendly, one guy had a Douglas Adams tshirt so you know he's cool! Anyway, the coffee was awesome! The cakes looked lovely, didn't partake on this occasion but will when I'm back in there next.

Stumbled across The Kitchenside Bakery on a day out in Looe. Lunch for myself, my partner and our son consisted of lovely handmade sandwiches and even our normally scatty dog was settled so this must be a relaxing place! Didn't partake myself but the cakes got very high praise from my family. Will definitely eat here again when back in... More
