Again visited Papa Ninos and again was very happy with the quality of food, helpfulness of staff and generally being accommodated in every way. The crab gratin starter is a must.... Requested the seafood marinara with a few tweaks.... Added crab, lobster and a thermidor sauce. Derek the chef duely obliged and it was fantastic. Superb.

Nice little Italian restaurant. Warm welcome, friendly staff. Chef out front talking to customers. Seafood really good. Steak cooked perfectly. Specials board good and staff explained without asking. Good after drinks selection.....just get up and look through the bottles! Nothing too much trouble....if you can't see it ask

We were in Looe out of season for one night and wanting to eat early. This was the only restaurant we could find open at 6pm, fortunately they had a free table because once we sat down the place soon filled up. I had absolutely delicious mushrooms to start followed by John Dory, I was a bit disappointed with the... More

Just one tip if you are going to offer a Hendricks gin please don't serve it with a slice of lemon and flat tonic from a large probably plastic bottle. Cucumber and good quality small glass bottle of tonic please.

My wife and I were staying in Port Quin, Cornwall. We traveled by car to the east coast, ending up late one night in Looe. While strolling the quaint streets, the waiter at Papa Nino's came out onto the street to entice us inside to eat. We followed him in and never regreted our decision for one second. Being late,... Having eaten here many times I have to admit that the times we have been 'accidentally' overcharged has become irritating. The bill is conveniently never itemised and instead the mains are added together, as are the starters, making the checking difficult, especially if there a few of you. I remember the prices and I don't work there. There is no... More
