We had a good Sunday roast lunch with great views over Falmouth and Flushing! Loads of veg with roasts, friendly staff and good reasonably priced beer & wine ,

What a great place with superb views, very friendly staff the landlords a character. We had the 28 day hung 10oz rump steak and would have to say it was excellent, probably the best this year, it's fair we'll be back and I would certainly recommend.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the kind words, very pleased you enjoyed the visit. We know our landlord is something, 'a character' is probably a fair description! 😀 Cheers The Boathouse crew. More

Two friends and myself visited this restaurant for Dinner. On asking to set up a tab, the staff were only interested in how we were intending to pay. The 'Specials' board featured a fish stew, with saffron and fresh fish. Two of us ordered this and a travesty of the described offering appeared. A soup plate with mostly chopped tinned... More

We are very sorry to hear about your experience with us and are very disappointed that we could't resolve your problem at the time. The fish stew is probably one of our most popular dishes and we sell lots! It is a unique recipe and is quite tomatoey, so either it (regrettably) was not up to our usually very high... More

Booked a holiday let, wandered down the road and happily surprised to find the boathouse which was the first pub mr meekey and min meeke I came to the first time we came to Falmouth a good 5yrs ago. It's a very small bar but the barmaids were friendly and recommended the cider for me. Offered me a tab which... More

My daughter who lives in Falmouth had chosen the Boat House to have lunch and celebrate her 21st Birthday. She's Vegan and had heard the lunches here were good. She wasn't wrong, great food, great value, amazing views. I also had cause to contact the Boat House firstly to book and check they could accommodate a vegan but also as... More

Went for Sunday lunch today and it was bleddy delicious - would thoroughly recommend - is also dog friendly in the bar part - we booked a table to avoid disappointment - beer good too and prosecco on draft - staff lovely - and agree with the pub's statement that this is a ' proper ' homemade sunday lunch :)

Fed up with cooking over Christmas, eight of us went to The Boatyard. Not having been there before, it was a case of potluck. It was excellent. Very few starters, but the chef knocked up some garlic bread to go with the calamari. Both were very good and shared. Calamari not at all rubbery, but fresh and easy to eat,... More

The food is less than average and certainly over priced. My burger is one of the driest I've ever had. The awful 70s Musak was so loud that the staff miss hear the order and serve my 12 year old with a 28 day aged steak rather than the braised steak stew.

Walked in to this quirky shaped pub and was instantly made to feel welcome. The landlord is a great character and knows his business. The food and ale are very good.
