As an early Mothers Day present my eldest daughter took me, and her sister, here for lunch , wow! A sublime experience , every aspect was superb, from the choices of food and drink to the service, to the location and to top it all the sun shone (lots) . Thoroughly recommend this complete gem... ENJOY!

This place is all about quality. Add to it stunning location and warm welcome from staff who really care and you have a place where you could eat out every day. I had one of the best pastas of my life and their scones are to die for! The hosts are accommodating, lovely and funny. Can't recommend it enough!

I had some French friends over on holiday who really wanted to have a cream tea. I had heard that the waymarker was the place in the area for tea so I decided to take them there . I had been there before but for Sunday lunch which was excellent, very good quality . Well ,we weren't disappointed !! It... More

Thought we'd drive out of town for a change. Visited 2 years ago and thought nothing special, although reviews are good. This time it was up to its high billing. Choices were Macaroni cheese which was told was delicious . Beef sandwiches which looked filling and full of good quality beef. Mine was fish and chips which sounds simple but when... More

Home baking at its best! Wish we had found this place earlier in our stay!! Freshly baked warm scones, we had the sweet and savoury options...wonderful 😀 The other dishes coming out from the kitchen looked lovely for lunch, definitely will be returning next time we are in the area.

Living only c6 miles from The Waymarker, this is a place we had intending on trying for quite some time. So, we headed out at the weekend to go for a breakfast/brunch, and our experience did not disappoint. The menu is good and we were easily able to find something we wanted to eat. Our food was very tasty, and... More

We visited The Waymarker for Sunday lunch as it was recently reviewed as being one of the top places for Sunday lunch in TR11. A restaurant is only as good as the last meal it serves, hence my constructive and honest comments as follows: The entrance and car parking was a bit confusing. We entered through the rear of the... Found this place on TA whilst looking for somewhere different to take my elderly mother for lunch. Wow wow wow. We shared couple of fish platters between three which luckily just left room for desserts. The food was outstanding and the service fabulous. Hope it's not too long until we can get back!
