I would like to write this in the hope that the management/staff at the hotel will use this to improve upon . The fact that continental breakfast is only included in the a room rate of £250 is quite simply ludicrous, I have stayed in a London hotel in Mayfair for the same price and full breakfast was included. The... More

invited to Sunday lunch by a family member. very nice relaxed atmosphere but the 3 course lunch was spread over 3 hours. a long time for the younger children. The meal was very well presented and the staff could not be faulted. I would recommend that you allow plenty of time and have lots to talk about.

My husband and I visited La Brasserie for an evening meal and we weren't disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant, the staff are very attentive and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We each had steak and were in agreement that it's the best steak that we've had in the city. We cannot wait to return!

Had early evening meal from the Dine and Chill menu. Presentation superb and value for money as it includes a glass of good quality wine. However, Tables for two far too close to each other. Makes one feel uncomfortable. Food was top quality but over done with butter and salt. Portions only small but because of butter content in both... More

As a special treat, we visited La Brasserie at the Grosvenor Hotel for our Mother's Day lunch - and it was fantastic. Firstly, the service was amazing - there were plenty of waiting staff around who were available when needed, and as a result drinks were frequently refreshed and food brought with no delays between courses. One of my biggest... More

Our visit was spoiled by a very over efficient young lady Manager! She seated us in the middle of an empty restaurant which was very draughty, we moved ourselves to a side table nearby and we were told that on this occasion we could stay there but in future if we were having the light bites menu we could not,... Visited 31st March for Dinner. Lovely dinning room shown to large corner booth plenty of room. Excellent G&T to start, superb starters, good steak but better extras, spinach tarragon sauce, nicked several of my wife's excellent chips. My wife's sample deserts first class, my cheese selection slightly spoiled by one that should have carried a ⚠️ . The service was... More

We booked as a special meal for our 40th anniversary. However we were both disappointed in the seating arrangements. The restaurant didn't appear to be very busy, but we were sat in a corner, there was a long bench seat on one side, the tables seemed very close together. ( Reminded me of an upmarket Cafe Rouge). We were on... More

Stayed at The Chester Grosvenor and ate at La Brasserie - the perfect combination. Staff were really attentive, and the food simply out of this world. My husband went for the mackerel starter while I had the duck - both delicious. Steak followed, and it was obviously of the highest quality and cooked exactly to our liking - medium rare.... More

Dear Tulbow Thank you for your review of La Brasserie and I was sorry to read your comments. I would respectfully disagree with your view that our service has deteriorated so badly over the last two years which is contradicted by the overwhelming number of positive and highly complimentary reviews that the hotel and its restaurant consistently receives. As a... More

Description
With a relaxed Parisian style atmosphere La Brasserie is the perfect place for a coffee, a cocktail or a leisurely meal. The black leather sofas, sleek granite tabletops and hand-painted glass skylight all add to the feeling of French sophistication, and the Josper grill produces food superior both in taste and quality.
