So nice to find an Indian restaurant not relying on food colouring to distinguish between dishes. The cuisine here is South Indian and includes fabulous dosas. If you've never had one go for it and you won't be disappointed, especially if you want a lighter option to not get full on rice. Rather spendid coconut ice cream to finish on.... More

A very well established restaurant specialising in Southern Indian cuisine. Beautifully appointed. Great staff friendly and happy to talk you through the menu. House speciality is the Dhosa. This is a large crispy pancake with various spiced fillings. A licensed restaurant on the edge of the it centre with a slightly different menu. Well worth a visit

Visited Koconut Grove twice in a week and both times I have been very impressed with both the quality of the food but also the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. The southern India menu is different and more tasty that the usual Indian food on offer. The only reservation I have is the lighting - it is quite stark....get... More

We visited as a group of 16 to celebrate a birthday. Booked in advance, the table was great, decorated with balloons, all good in that respect. The ordering was a bit of a faff, but that's only to be expected I guess . The food was a bit hit and miss, some meals were nice ( mine was), but feedback... More

Rang up and booked a table for six people including a seven year old. Even though it was midweek pre booking was needed - and it did fill up. Kids menu first - 3 courses and our rather selective grandson devoured everything. All adults tried different starters and mains - everything got the thumbs up - my chicken dish was... More

We had some beautiful Meals here before. New Year's Eve was ok but nothing special. Portions seemed to be Smaller and flavours were a bit less. Nevertheless it was nice - and I am sure we will return soon - to be blown away again!

We had poppadoms, a chicken tikka dosa and chicken tikka massala, pilau rice etc. The flavour was there in the chicken and it was cooked well. The pancake thing was virtually inedible for me, dry and tasteless. The tikka massala was not as good as we have had elsewhere. The pilau rice was slightly bitty and hard and had a... More

Ate here whilst visiting Chester over Christmas and I wasn't disappointed. There was a lovely, buzzy atmosphere and despite being busy staff had time to talk and discuss the menu. The food was the best Indian I've eaten outside of India, and coming from Leicester where there's loads of Indian restaurants, that's saying something!
