Called here for a quick drink and found it ok. Near to the river and not too far from the centre. Lower Bridge St is ideal for a little pub crawl if you don’t want to venture to the city centre.

My husband and I loved this pub. Very traditional with a great choice of ales and gin. Dog friendly. Great staff. We didn't eat but the menu was very enticing so next time we are in Chester I would like to sample.
