We stopped here as we walked the coastal path. It was raining and perhaps we looked a bit bedraggled. The restaurant was nearly empty-- many empty tables. The server said no room -- only in the garden. We understand how restaurants hold tables for reservations...More
Longis is one of the best bays on Alderney and the Old Barn is the place to eat there, a good menu and always seems to be full of visitors and locals. Tea and cakes or a full lunch it always seems to come up...More
Beautiful garden, peaceful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly, helpful and welcoming owners and staff. If you aren't happy eating and drinking in the gardens with the sun shining you never will be.

There is nowhere better to eat out on a sunny day in Alderney. The food is reasonably priced and always good quality. The adjacent off licence is a useful bonus.
