We moored the boat at the riverside by the Swan. Plenty of moorings both sides of the river. Had a drink and went back in the evening for food. Really nice menu and food quality excellent. Lovely feel to the place; obviously recently decorated with some nice interior design touches. Staff very friendly. Prices reasonable. Moorings were quiet overnight. We'd... More

Just had lamb rump on bubble and squeak at The Swan on the river. Absolutely first class meal. Beautifully cooked and presented. I cannot recommend this destination highly enough. It has such a pleasant atmosphere to eat, or drink, in.

Friendly staff great location in this sleepy little town, amazing if the weather is kind. Lots of tables and seats by the river but plenty of room inside too.

Stopped here for lunch. Food was fabulous , service was great. Onion rings to die for with fresh crispy batter. A perfect tiramisu👌🏻 Friendly pub/restaurant with lovely outside seating area. Well worth a visit.

We've heard mixed reviews about this restaurant, but decided to try it anyway. The location is perfect, as the restaurant overlooks the river. The decor in the dining room, however (particularly the geometric design on the walls) does not go well with the setting. Nitpicks aside--we were sat promptly and our first round of drinks came quickly. Another table came... More

Took my mum here for Mothers Day and had a wonderful meal. Excellent roast and friendly service. I imagine the decking area in the summer is a great place to be too. A little tip, the restaurant is divided into 2 areas. The inner area by the bar seemed a little dark - try and get the room next to... More

Went for afternoon tea today and was absolutely amazed. The presentation was outstanding and was served on the most gorgeous own made cake stands. Everything was as fresh as could be and the value for money was amazing. £30 for 3 people and we couldn't even fit the scones in so left with them in a gorgeous packages.

Had a table of 12 for a family meal. The pre-orders we made were perfect, no mistakes, even down to how the steaks were cooked. The roast was a good portion size, as were the children's meals. And service was very fast, even though the restaurant was busy! The pictures are a lamb roast dinner, and banoffee cheesecake.

I found this restaurant on here on Saturday and looking at the menu, reviews and photos I decided to book a table for a Sunday roast and was it was truly amazing. The roast beef was really succulent and the big Yorkshire pudding held itself even when covered with the gorgeous gravy. The potatoes were even really fluffy inside! The... More
