I had the beef pie of the day, decent price and very yummy. Typical old style pub but it's packed at the weekends so don't rely on being able to get a seat.

We just called in for a quick drink were overwhelmed by the lovely traditional atmosphere. A great pub. The ale was perfect and the even had San Miguel on tap. Perfect!

I can't comment on the food here but the pub is definitely worth visiting for its history (including the RAF bar and the table where Crick & Watson first announced their solution of the DNA mystery) and a fine selection of cask beers. I'll be back.

I've been to the Eagle before and it was rather chain pub food but ok and the history of the pub made up for it. However this time the food was still ok but the service was shambolic, 2 of our group had eaten their entire meal before mine and my partners meal arrived and that was only because we... More

If you will be meeting somebody, this is probably where they will tell you to meet them. The eagle is centrally located and very popular. Good pub food and beers in a very busy pub.

Just popped into the RAF bar for a pint and was really impressed with the range of beers on offer. A really nice and pleasant bar and the other area's looked good on leaving. Menu looked good but didn't eat here. A proper pub with history.

The Eagle has a very varied selection of food. If lamb shanks are on the menu, they are to die for. Alternatively fish meals plus chicken dishes. Something for everyone. Various wines and beers. The ambience is lovely. Great decor giving cambridge insight from the past. The famous ceiling in the dining area is a must to see. A blast... More

We read about the Eagle in Cambridge, UK on a travel website, and since my wife and I are fans of old pubs, we thought we'd give it a try when we were in Cambridge last Saturday (3/4). We happened on it on a side street, as did a lot of other people, locals and visitors. We got a seat... More

Fish nice, crispy batter. Dry, tasteless chips, most likely frozen, pre-cut supermarket chips. No music in the pub. Pre-booking advised as very busy.
