Absolutely outstanding quality meal at Prana. The flavours are incredible and I can’t recommend highly enough. Just wonderful and such a treat to have a restaurant like this in Cambridge. Prana totally deserve all the awards.

A very fine dinning experience awaits all who visit this restaurant. It is second to none in terms of attentive service, ambiance, quality and authenticity of food, and cleanliness. I have no hesitation whatsoever recommending it.

Feeling lazy, I ordered a takeaway from Prana. When I arrived at the restaurant to collect it, the tables looked so nice I wished I was eating in! The food was excellent, as always

So we have a local restaurant of the same name. We accidentally ordered takeaway food from this one (several hundred miles away from us). Our fault. Our error. I realised as soon as I received the confirmation email as the phone number had a dialling...code I didn’t recognise it, so I called to cancel. It went straight to answer machine. I tried again, and left a message with my mobile number asking them to cancel my order/phone me. I also sent an email. This was within a couple of minutes of placing the order. That was 6 days ago. They haven’t phoned or replied to my email. They have taken the money and they have sent two automated emails, one to see how our meal was (I have no idea, we have never had a meal from their restaurant) and the second to say they are sorry (I rated them zero) and will contact me (they haven’t). So an error on our part (which could easily have been rectified given they wouldn’t have started to prepare it at the time I phoned) has just caused stress and annoyance at how a business can operate with no way of contacting them directly! So, try them if you want, but if there is even the slightest chance you might need to contact them about sometime, take your custom elsewhere.More

We first went to Prana some years ago after our previous favourite Indian restaurant in Cambridge closed. Since then, we've been back a number of times - it quickly became our new favourite. We ate in the restaurant before the covid-19 pandemic and have ordered...takeaways since. They have never let us down, in terms either of the food or of the service. I particularly recommend the lamb shank and the chicken korma is a hit with our daughter, but we have in the past had other dishes which we also thoroughly enjoyed. The service in the restaurant was great when we ate there; now the takeaway service is equally good, with our order invariably ready for us to collect from the front of the restaurant at the time requested - or even before. (They also deliver, but we've never used that as we typically combine our takeaway with shopping on Mill Road.) Thoroughly recommended!More

Decided to try out Prana because it was recommended by a local friend and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll definitely be returning- looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu.

A visit with work colleagues. The restaurant was quite quiet and we were quickly ushered in. We were a polite and respectful group and were looking forward to a nice meal. There were two or three staff waiting on who were efficient but were very...surly and not conversational at all, not even a good evening guys. We ordered the food and I asked them to repeat the order and there were three extra rice dishes that we hadn't asked for. I will assume good faith that it may have been out fault even though I doubt it. At £5.95 for mushroom rice the price rockets up. My colleague asked if they could do a keema naan please. "No". Or a roti? "No". Ok it wasn't on the menu but we felt like we were being reprimanded. The restaurant proclaims to be a better class than others around but having visited the Tiffin Truck earlier in the week, Prana could learn a huge amount about customer service and fair billing. I deducted the service charge only because the service did not warrant any uplift whatsoever. Food was ok, the lamb on the bone was excellent, the rice was clumpy though and the breads were bland. The rezalla was ok but nothing flair about any of the dishes at all. Neither the food nor service justify the high prices being charged.More

My husband and I are fully aware that we are difficult customers as we are vegetarians and he has coeliac disease so needs to be gluten-free. We arrived at our booked time of 7 pm looking forward to our dinner as he recently had a...good experience here. we choose wine from the drinks menu and are told the poppadoms are not gluten-free , contradicting my husband's last visit when he was assured they were ok for him to have. when the waitress comes to take the order and we mention gluten-free, she mumbles something about a gluten-free menu and goes away and carries on serving other people. we sit there somewhat bemused ,waiting for 5, 10 ,20 minutes before our order is taken ,though no gluten-free menu has appeared and she says she will mention it to the chef and out food will be more slow as everything will need to be cleaned. Just as we start considering leaving as we are so hungry and seeing other arrive and receive their food, some 90 minutes after we first arrived in the restaurant, our food finally arrives, including a side-order of ( very gluteny) nan ,which puts into doubt all assurances previously given and which we had obviously not ordered. The food was very nice ,but portions were not large. Normally and especially as we were there for a special occasion we would have had dessert, but at this time we just felt unwelcome and a nuisance and went home still a bit hungry. What a disappointing evening!More

Never disappoints, the best in Cambridge by far. Being coeliac it's the only place in Cambridge I trust with cross contamination. Highly recommended

4 of us arrived on Saturday evening without a reservation. This wasn't a problem and we were shown to a table without delay. The service was without fault even though they appeared a little under staffed. All of our dishes were fantastic in both the...quality of taste and presentation. We will definitely visit again.More
