This is a cosy and friendly place to meet and chat. In Winter it's very warm - can get a little over heated but small patio outside is nice in Summer and there is a good mix of chairs and sofas to relax and read the newspapers supplied there.

Just off of Whiteladies Road near the Tesco, a lovely coffee shop. Service is exceptional. You can sit inside or outside. Wraps, paninis, all freshly made. I opted for crumpets and coffee. Good selection of newspapers. Good seating

Lived directly across from Lashings last year so it became a very regular place for me to go and chill if I needed to read, either for studying or leisure. The atmosphere inside is really nice, and the decor is colourful, well thought-out, and non-invasive. Ignore the negative reviews about the staff, these people are just being difficult! All of... A cafe that offers hot drinks and snacks/light lunches. I sometimes find that the youngsters serving here do not have their minds on their job but generally things are better with the older staff.

This has been local for almost 2 years since I moved here. The owner is kind and considerate. They try to go off piste if you have weird menu requests. The bacon sandwiches are good, the hot chocolate GREAT. I can understand the below review as I've had great experiences with the staff and less wonderful. But the staff do... More

Went for a coffee with my 6 month old baby, I couldn't go in as baby asleep in pram so asked if they could bring coffee out to me, rather than wait inside. They looked at me like I was crazy! Then when I sat outside two of the women who worked there came and out smoked all over me... More

We called in here on a whim as we read the information on it and thought it sounded in interesting and worth a go. The location was good for us, though the parking can be tricky we didn't take too long to find somewhere. It has a good atmosphere and I would think it best for a quick lunch date... More

The artistic aura that Bristol puts out has been drawing people in for decades and, like any good, creative-minded person, they need caffeine.

At Lashings they get that - for the past 4 years this quirky independent cafe has served the needs of musicians, artists, students, and parents with cups of steaming Fair Trade organic coffee and providing the sweetest treats around.

Whether you're coming in for breakfast, lunch, or a slice of cake, there will always be something new as Lashings love to keep it fresh. From milkshakes to smoothies and artisan teas, they have it covered - plus the coffee mavens here make some of the smoothest and most blissful espresso in the South West.
