Having been here before it's always been ok but recently I've found it to be very loud (have to shout at one another) and the food a let down. The pasta was something my English mother who can't cook could rustle up, such a shame! No one really enjoyed their meal and the prices don't reflect that level of food.... More

My second visit this year, after an absence of about 25 years! Just as enjoyable as the first time, good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. This time I had a pizza instead of pasta and it was very nice. Tiramisu was excellent although I must admit I did struggle with the size! Very generous portions. Will be back again, shame... More

Every time i go here it's as good as the last. It's not gonna set the world alight but it's good traditional food cooked well. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and traditional too with Italian music playing usually which always makes me feel like I'm on holiday. Service is friendly and always good. The meatballs and the tiramisu would... More

I've been there a couple of times so far and I've never been disappointed. Both pasta dishes and pizzas are high quality and they taste so good! Being Italian, I know exactly how Italian food tastes and to be honest, this is one of the best alternatives that you can get in Bristol if you fancy an Italian dinner. Speaking... More

Arrived slightly early for out table but this was no problem as we were immediately taken to the table and our drinks order taken. The menu is varied but not too large. I had the Chicken Kiev which would not normally be my first choice. However, what a great choice. This was not your preformed factory chicken but a real... More

We were a large group who all arrived at different time but the staff were very friendly and attentive. It is a small restaurant and the tables are a bit on top of each other, would struggle to have a romantic dinner here. I ordered the Bruschetta and was disappointed it was such a small portion followed by the Lasagne... More

I was treating my sister to a special Birthday meal out, walking past several other restaurants, ending up choosing La Campagnuola. We arrived around 8.30pm last night and for a Wednesday night the restaurant looked reasonably busy but not too overcrowded. We spoke to the man at the bar, who was in the middle of pouring a pint when we... More

Definitely a good restaurant to visit if you like pizza, or a range of italian dishes (including lasagna, spaghetti, fish etc.). Priced very reasonably with friendly and efficient service. Mixed bag of diners of all ages, clothed from rags to riches. Wine reasonably priced and Peroni on tap. Car parking is relatively easy on the surrounding streets after 5 pm.... More

Just returned from a wonderful meal the ambience the service and not to mention the food was faultless, reasonably priced and although it was busy we were not kept waiting for our food, it is genuine Italian food produced with passion Gracie Mille !

A local favourite of mine. The staff here are always exceptionally kind and welcoming. The restaurant holds genuine Italian heritage and this definitely shows in both the decor and the menu. The atmosphere is typically pleasant, never too crowded and with traditional music playing in the background. The food is very reasonably priced. On my most recent visit I had... More
