My party visited on our way to see santa at the woodland experience. There was a toy box for the kids to play with, animals outside and a park so the kids were well entertained! The food was delicious and the menu varied, as kids...More

The Beech Tree Inn is a Welcome site on the Glasgow Road. It is a nice location and the food is good. The people are fairly friendly and have always been polite. The service is sometimes better than others, but that is true of most...More

Nice stop on the west Highland way walk for a basic lunch or drink . Lots of seating both indoors and outdoors . Also sells sweets and a fee other useful bits and bobs. Worth a stop if just for a beer .

I remember this being somewhere we went for a beer at the weekend! Now seems to be very focussed on the West Highland Way travellers. Food was good as was the service and prices.

This was a fantastic stopoff at the start of the West Highland Way! The caramel shortbread was delicious and they also dropped off one of my girlfriends shoes at the next village after she accidentally left it. Very friendly and very much appreciated, thank you.

Hi Suzanne, sorry but I'm not sure. I only popped in there for a quick lunch. They do have a fair size garden and I would guess it's ok to take dogs in there!? Drop them an email to be sure :)

Description
The Beech Tree Inn is a family restaurant and bar situated just north of Glasgow. Please do not expect fine dining, that it not what we do. Its just simple bar food at value for money prices. In addition, we have a good range of light meals and snacks. We also stock a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We have a great beer garden with a children's play area, pygmy goats, mini Shetland ponies, ducks, rabbits, & zebra finches for the kids to enjoy looking at.
