Had dinner at the Bear's Paw Cafe in Wells, and the ribs were awesome, but you have to get there early as the locals reserve seats, and you may not get in, the ribs are that good!

We had such a great meal here and the owner and server were so accommodating and enriched the evening with interactions and giving the kids things to do. Food was fantastic.

The Bears Paw has delicious food that is fresh made every day. I had the Mediterranean lasagna and ribs that were so delicious. The staff is very friendly. Definitely a great place to go after a long day in historic Barkerville.

Friendly staff, great food, fun atmosphere. The menu is limited so come early to avoid disappointment as favourites can sell out. The owners were super helpful with hints for hiking and canoeing in the area.

Thanks for your kind words and for noticing the quirky salt and pepper shakers. We've always thought that a holiday meal should be just another part of a great vacation, not just a fuel stop, so it's nice to see you enjoyed so many aspects...More

We had two excellent dinners there. The owners are on site to assist with great customer service. You get acknowledged as soon as you come , even if there is a small wait.

Thanks for your high praise and for enjoying your dinner enough to eat here twice. We consider that a great honour in a place with a variety of restaurants from which to choose.
