Had a pleasant evening here. The beer was very good, the food reasonable - except for a plaice which was overcooked till too dry - and the host friendly. I would happily return again, but my partner who had the "dry plaice" is digging in...More

Lovely staff very friendly. Food was disappointing though. My boyfriend had the BBQ ribs which weren't very BBQ at all and were very watery. I had the fishcakes which were nice. But what let it down for both of us were the chips, just same...More

Very impressed!! Friendly staff, lovely home cooked food (big portions), reasonably priced, loads of choice on the menu... especially the puddings! We ordered 5 puddings between 4 of us because there was too much choice. The restaurant is really stylish, and recently refurbished. Will definitely...More

A hidden gem, looks like an ordinary pub serving pub grub, but in fact it has a separate restaurant which serves wonderful food. Great choice, locally sourced produce, home made desserts. Very nicely presented plates and good helpings. Pleasant service.
