Was a bit worried about some of the reviews but our food was great and the location really is stunning. We ended up visiting twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Had a great sharing platter for lunch.

Sunday lunch with my wife and our one-year old baby. To start with all the high chairs were very dirty (not regularly cleaned by th looks) which made me already suspicious of the place. We ordered the watermelon and strawberry salad (7.50 pounds) and calamari...More

Visited here for an evening meal on a scorching day. Got a table in the window overlooking the river Thames. Service was a little haphazard but very friendly which negated any issues. Had steak which was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

This pub has a lovely location by the river on a hot summer night. However the service is poor...lots of dirty plates and glasses on the bar that were left from the time we arrived till we left. After finishing our wine we decided to...More

Booked a table for a late Sunday lunch (15:00) Slow service with not enough staff behind the bar or front of house. Got the food order wrong for 4 people and then the food arrived and was disappointing. Shame as a few weeks previous we...More

The location is wonderful, if weather is dry and bright, then sitting outside on the tables and benches with swift table service, means the visit was really nice and worthwhile. The food is good, although a little on the expensive side for what it is,...More

I booked the upstairs of this lovely riverside pub for a friend's baby shower. We put the decorations up in the morning ahead of everyone arriving at 1pm. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and management. The buffet food was faultless and made...More

Popped in after a long walk, and looked for some lunch. Told food wasn't served upstairs, but staff were really helpful and reserved seating once available. As a group of four chose a variety of mains and all enjoyed what was served. A busy place...More

I appolgize in advance for the strangeness of this question. One of our favorite things to order on our visits to your country is the fish and chips and we have always been pleased. However, on our last trip a few years ago, we found that most restaurants were leaving the skin on one side of the fish which we did not care for. Could you please tell me if that is your practice also? Thanks so very much.
