We've been here so many times now and it never fails to please. Such good food, especially the Sunday roast, lovely traditional interior. Great garden. And the staff and owners are awesome. Highly recommend.

Took my mother here for lunch on a lovely sunny Saturday. A lovely pub in a charming location. Excellent quality beer (I had a Windsor & Eton Brewery Guardsman. Would have enjoyed a session on this, but was greatly restricted as I was driving). The...More
A great cosy place for a drizzly Sunday afternoon. Fantastic welcome, wonderful food. We chose pil pil prawns followed by Roast Beef which came with the full compliment of sides. Too full up to try the deserts. Car Park is a bit snug so better...More

A period pub in a wonderful setting directly adjacent to one of the oldest lawn bowling green`s in the country. Friendly & helpful staff contribute to the period surroundings. What a shame that the very limited menu choice spoils what could be a wonderful experience.
